Tactical Manoeuvres Privacy Policy
Effective date 27 September 2026
1 Who we are and what this policy covers
EG Maritime Sea Consultant, based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, operates Tactical Manoeuvres — Bridge Training. This policy explains our handling of personal information through the app and related support services. Our registered address is Al Ihtiraf Street, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. Contact us at admin@maritime-sea-consulting.com.
Tactical Manoeuvres provides maritime education and assessed practice in COLREGs, ship handling and tactical manoeuvring for Officer of the Watch candidates.
This policy gives notice of our practices; using the app does not by itself provide consent for optional processing.
2 Information we collect
Account information: No personal information collected. The app requires no account and no sign-in.
Training information: modules accessed, quiz and exam answers, assessment scores, simulation runs, completion records and certificates are saved only to your device (browser local storage). These records allow progress to continue across sessions and never leave your device.
Purchase information: through app store, where applicable.
Technical information: No identifiers or logs can be linked to an individual user.
Support information: information you choose to send when seeking assistance, including your contact details and the contents of your request. Please avoid sending confidential operational information or unnecessary sensitive personal information.
3 Why we process information
We do not process or collect personal information. All training data is stored on your device; purchases, where applicable, are handled through the app store.
4 Payments
Purchases through Apple’s in-app purchase service are processed by Apple.
5 Service providers and other disclosures
We use Apple Store Connect and Lovable for app infrastructure.
We do not sell personal information or share it for third-party behavioural advertising.
6 Cookies analytics and device permissions
Tactical Manoeuvres does not use cross-company advertising tracking and does not request the advertising identifier. If tracking is introduced, we will explain it and obtain any required permission before it occurs.
Tactical Manoeuvres does not collect real-world precise location.
7 Storage security and international transfers
Your training records remain on your device under your control. We maintain safeguards appropriate to the information and risks. No online system is completely secure; contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
8 Retention
No account or training records are retained on our servers. Records on your device persist until you clear them (via the app’s reset option or your browser/device settings) or delete the app.
9 Data deletion and privacy choices
Because all training data is stored on your device, you can delete it at any time using the reset option on the Evaluation page or by clearing the app’s site data. You may also contact admin@maritime-sea-consulting.com for assistance or other privacy requests. Deleting the app from your device removes its locally stored data. Account deletion does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription; manage Apple subscriptions at https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
10 Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, portability, restriction or cessation of processing, or object to certain processing. Contact the email above. We may verify identity proportionately and will respond within applicable legal time limits. You may complain to the competent data protection authority where that right is available.
11 Young users and external services
Tactical Manoeuvres is intended for users aged 16 years and above.
12 Applicable law and changes
We comply with privacy laws applicable to our activities, including UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 concerning personal data protection where applicable. Additional rules may apply in markets we serve. We will update this policy as practices change and provide notice, and obtain fresh consent where required, before materially different consent-based processing begins.
